Agent Workforce
Helium Bees are your always-on, always-governed agent workforce. Multi-agent apps are what happens when several Bees work as a team — but each Bee is powerful on its own.
What a Bee can do
A Bee can create, send, update, and trigger actions across 200+ integrations — your docs, calendars, messaging, CRMs, and more. It runs on the same fabric that routes each step to the best model for the job.
Single Bee
One agent owning one job across your connected tools — always on, always governed.
A team of Bees
Several agents coordinated by a lead. This is a multi-agent app.
Always governed
Scope, approval steps, and revocable access on every Bee. You set the limits.
Always on
Bees keep working in the background — on their own dedicated VM with Hermes.
Governance built in
Every Bee operates inside a permission boundary you define. Before taking certain actions — especially ones that touch external data or send communications — Hermes surfaces an approval request to you. You approve or deny on Telegram, Slack, or the dashboard. The system fail-safes to "denied" after 10 minutes with no response.
- Define what a Bee may and may not do before activating it
- Scope access to only the integrations it actually needs
- Revoke access at any time from Connections in the dashboard
- Review all consequential actions in the dashboard audit log
- Approve or deny pending actions via Telegram, Slack, or Discord — from anywhere
Single Bee vs. a team
| Mode | Best for | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Single Bee | Recurring, well-defined tasks | Daily email digest, calendar management |
| Bee team (2–3) | Multi-step workflows with hand-offs | Research → write → post to Slack |
| Full team (4+) | Complex deliverables needing specialised roles | Full product page: research + copy + design + build + QA |
