Build a Multi-Agent App
From idea to a running agent team in four steps. You describe the outcome — Hermes recruits the team, coordinates the work, and hands you one finished result.
Four steps to launch
- Describe the goal
State the outcome and the roles you imagine. Helium will recruit the rest.
"Run my weekly competitor digest: research, summarise, and post to Slack." - Connect the tools
Link the apps the team needs to act on, from he2.ai/hxbees. Grant only what's required — you can revoke access at any time from Connections.
- Set guardrails
Define what the team may do autonomously and which actions need your sign-off. Approval requests are sent to you on Telegram, Slack, or Discord in real time. See User Boundaries for the full list of controls.
- Run & refine
Launch the app, review the result, and adjust roles or rules with a follow-up message. Iterate until the output matches what you need.
Tip: Start with a read-only team (research + summarise) before granting agents permission to send or publish. This gives you confidence in the output before letting it act on external services.
Example apps
| Goal | Team | Integrations needed |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly competitor digest | Researcher + Writer + Publisher | Web search, Slack |
| Social media content calendar | Researcher + Writer + Designer + Scheduler | Web search, Google Sheets, LinkedIn |
| Product page launch | Researcher + Writer + Designer + Builder + Reviewer | Web search, GitHub |
| Daily news brief | Researcher + Summariser + Sender | Web search, Gmail |
Next steps: Set up your App Connections first, then learn how the team self-organises in Multi-Agent Apps.
